KRAAIPAN GREENSTONE BELT ("KGB")

MINING FRIENDLY BOTSWANA
THE CHALLENGE
SAND COVER
South Africa is twice the size of Botswana but boasts 5 times as many mines despite very similar geological potential. Why? Over 70% of the rocks in Botswana are under the cover of the Kalahari Desert.
Only one gold deposit has been discovered so far on the KGB and that is in South Africa, 40 km south of the border and the Kraaipan Project.
The KGB (like all greenstone belts) is highly prospective for orogenic gold deposits.
The Kraaipan Greenstone Belt (“KGB”) is a 3-billion-year-old, 200 km long, volcano-sedimentary rock sequence that spans both South Africa and Botswana.
Botswana is ranked among the top global mining jurisdictions (Fraser Institute) and considered the most stable democracy in Africa.
The country’s wealth (6th in Africa) has come mostly from their diamond industry; when formed in 1966 it was the poorest in all of Africa.
With the recent decline in diamond markets, the country is now actively supporting diversification into copper, gold, manganese and other minerals.
The country offers community and government partnerships with strong support for mining companies.
Rockman Resources, NAR’s partner and operator of the project, has an experienced Botswana-based team with deep local knowledge.
Prior exploration of KGB in Botswana has been challenging due to the Kalahari sand cover. Overburden thickness ranges from 0 m to 70 m locally, but averages ~20m on the property. This cover has hampered past geological mapping, prospecting, and geochemical sampling, resulting in a dearth of exploration data.
TEAM BRACED FOR RAPID DEPLOYMENT
President and CEO, Eira Thomas, has more than 15 years of experience working in Botswana. As a founder and eventual CEO of Lucara Diamonds, she was instrumental in creating billions of dollars in revenue from the company’s Karowe Mine, one of the world’s foremost producers of large, high-quality, white diamonds, including the second, third, fourth and fifth biggest gem-quality stones ever recovered.
Our four-prong exploration approach utilizes proprietary, cutting-edge technologies, in combination with traditional methods to overcome the challenges of exploring the sand covered KGB.

North Arrow’s ’s Kraaipan Gold Project covers the entire ~60 km northern extension of the KGB in Botswana – huge potential for gold deposits covered by the Kalahari sands.
Steady news flow from throughout the summer and fall as NAR receives geochemical results of between an estimated 200 holes over the three-month program.
Past Results on the Property: Historical Rapid Air Blast drilling from the 1990s in the southern portion of the property where the KGB outcrops have demonstrated significant gold intersections: 42m @ 0.6 g/t Au, 21m @ 1 g/t Au, 9m @ 1.6 g/t Au, and 13m @ 1.7 gpt au including 3m @ 5.1 g/t Au. North Arrow considers these results to represent smoke to a fire; an indication that more will be found.
